EventReader 2 can be installed by running the EventReader2.msi file. This will automatically launch the Microsoft Installer and guide you through the install process. If MS Installer is not present in your system you can download it from Microsoft.
When installing via Terminal Services, please use the Add/Remove Programs applet from Control Panel to install the program. Make sure that you use a copy of the msi file from a local drive.
Typically, EventReader 2 does not require a system restart.
When a license is entered, the program has to be restarted for the links to www.eventid.net to be enabled for quick access to Microsoft articles.
EventReader 2 can be removed using the Add/Remove Program applet from Control Panel.
In order to upgrade EventReader 2 use Add/Remove Programs applet from Control Panel to remove the existing version and then install the new one. All the settings are preserved.
